Coming into college, I knew kind of what I wanted to do. I said I wanted to do marketing. But if you asked me why I wouldn't know. So I came in exploratory. And I said, Oh, I have an interest in marketing. So far being an exploratory student, a lot of people wonder if your schedule is going to be conducive to your future major. And I'd say, Yeah, I still have an ample amount of time to finish up my major, I have no doubt that, you know, even though I'm started two semesters late, I can catch up. So I have a business class, I have a microeconomics class, and then I have some electives, some mandatory classes. And so my schedule, pretty much helped me kind of figure out that marketing was for me, but not in the business sense. Going through my first semester, throughout my business class, we had a marketing section and accounting section, just various different types of business aspects. And I kind of hated the finance part. And marketing, I was like, yeah, actually, I still like it. My summer advisor told me actually what IMC was, and so I wouldn't have known about that without him. And I'm pretty confident that's what I'll stick with for the next three years. They're just ways of looking at layout. And you can mix and match. However, to meet your content needs. I like to design. The reason why I'm interested in IMC is because I do like the marketing. But I want more of a creative aspect and the design aspect to it. So that class is going pretty well. And it's kind of a great influencer for me to transfer into the major. And I find that design and presentation and graphic design are things that really interests me, and I've found that through taking the class. So that's why I was pretty much happy being in the exploratory program. And I'm really happy that I did it. Not only because it led me to where I want to be, but because it allowed me that kind of flexibility to be uncertain. It allowed me that time to really understand what I wanted to do.
